First Visit
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a place where your child can feel “at home” for dentistry.

Your child’s first visit can be and should be an enjoyable one! If they’re old enough, let them know ahead of time that they’ll be visiting and why, and that the dentist is there to answer any questions they have. The less to-do concerning the visit, the better!
You are always welcome to stay with your child for the duration of the appointment.
