Linda M. Blaschke, D.M.D. – Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Blaschke grew up in Rockland County, New York (near West Point) simultaneously attending high school, nursing school and evening college before attending Fordham University in the Bronx, New York for premed. At Fordham, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with English Literature and Psychology as dual minors. Throughout her four years of premed studies (and until she received her post doctorate certificate, six years following), Dr. Blaschke worked as a private duty pediatric nurse. In her second year of dental school, she sat for the hygiene boards, obtained her license as a Registered Dental Hygienist, thus also working as a dental hygienist. She attended Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) and was awarded the Colgate/Palmolive Women’s Dental Association Scholarship, the Delta Dental Scholarship, the prestigious American Society of Dentistry for Children Award and, most notably, a full two-year scholarship to the postdoctorate pediatric program at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Blaschke earned her Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies in Pediatric Dentistry from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine interning at Franciscan Children’s Hospital. As Chief Resident, she worked closely with the New England Center for Autism and currently sub-specializes in children with autism. In addition to treating patients in private practice, Dr. Blaschke is apart-time supervising dentist at Middlesex Community College School of Dental Hygiene. In addition to her various service opportunities in her home and church community, she also volunteers for the Upper Merrimack Valley Medical Reserve Corps which recruits, trains and deploys members for disaster preparedness in public emergencies and mass casualty events.
Dr. Blaschke is licensed to practice dentistry in Massachusetts and New York. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
The practice was established on February 5, 1996 at the Deaconess Nashoba Hospital Medical Office Building in Ayer and relocated to our current location in Pepperell several years later.
Dr. Blaschke truly cherishes her free time with her husband and their two boys. Her hobbies include: SCUBA diving, traveling, entertaining, volunteering at school and church, gardening, Fenway Park baseball and board games.
